Welcome New Readers!

Well, I didn’t exactly go public, but I did just invite all the people on my email update list to enter this blog. This is a pretty big step, and I guess I will have to be a bit more diligent now in keeping this updated.

I thought I could use this blog to introduce you to some different aspects of life at RVA. Sometimes I'll use it just to ramble, too, but today I'm going to educate my readers on Senior Store, the 12th graders’ fundraiser for their class trip in June. Yesterday was the first Senior Store of the term. There are about three stores every term. They sell donuts, burgers, ice cream, and all sorts of other delicious items. I love Senior Store. It is fun to go to the morning cafe and be served hot maple walnut donuts and passion fruit juice by smiling but sleepy-eyed students and to sit on the bleachers with students and staff watching a basketball game while enjoying our chicken teryaki or chicken tikka sandwiches for lunch.
It's not Tim Horton's, but it's pretty close! Hanna and Sarah serving sandwiches with a smile!Gun-Woo, Sean, and David working the soda counter.Richard, the basketball star, scooping ice cream to the beat of the blasting hip-hop music at the dessert counter.Richard and Paul, happy to serve.

That was fast! I barely posted that. Well, I threw my schedule on here, but it's so tiny you can't really see it. Any suggestions? I thought maybe clicking on it would open it in a new window, but it doesn't work.

Dang. Now it's not like I'm in an exclusive hoity-toity club. It made me feel so important and popular. Sigh. Now what will I do for a self-esteem booster?

Also, those donuts are making me hungry, and it's way too late for donuts. (But just about the right time for you so eat 'em if you got 'em.)

Good night and good morning.

(I talk too much, don't I?)

I just thought I'd try out this comment section. I'm a little computer shy. Anyway, nice looking students...and donuts. That juice sounded really good too. Have a good day today, friend!
