Summer in Saskatchewan

Just a quick update on my summer, squeezed between activity here in Blaine Lake.

I have had a wonderful and exciting summer back in Saskatchewan. It has been full of activities and people that I love. Here are some pictures to summarize what I've been doing.

Sheryl and me at a family reunion at Shekinah Retreat Centre

Taking a break from all the gruelling family reunion activities.

A walk through the forest with my cousins.

A visit to the Berry Barn with Emily, a former student from RVA

Showing Emily around the place

Emily at the German Pavilion at FolkFest

Friends at the Saskatoon Supporter Appreciation BBQ

Of course, there was also a visit to see my siblings and nieces in Winnipeg in there, a wonderful weekend at Heritage House, and many other meetings and visits that I didn't take pictures of.

I am looking forward to a few more things coming up: a quick camping trip with Sheryl and Emily, a visit from Andrea V (friend from RVA who lives in Ontario), and a road trip with Andrea to Edmonton to visit our friend, Sandi.

After that, I will be moving to Saskatoon and starting a job at Emmanuel Baptist Church. I will be their interim Director of Children's Ministries until the end of June.

I love that first pic with you and Sheryl. I didn't realize you were moving back to S'toon! All the best with the move etc! Maybe we'll get to run in to each other sometime!
