Junior Store

Last weekend, the Junior Class (and their sponsors) pulled off the first STORE of the term. “Store” is called “Senior Store” for the first two terms of the school year…and then the Senior Class hands the keys over to the Juniors for the final term of the year. So it is our turn now to fundraise for our Senior Safari—a class trip to Mombasa during the final midterm of the year (next year for us.)

Although it’s called “store”, it’s really more of a fast-food restaurant. We sell hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken tikka and chicken teriyaki sandwiches, philly cheesesteaks, pizza, taco salad, hot dogs, donuts, ice cream, popsicles, and sodas. I was in charge of the donut glazing department, and also the morning donut café (no pictures from this time, but I’ll try for next time…I didn’t think of taking any until later in the day.) Here are some pictures of our successful day.
