It was fabulous to have Sheryl here for an extra week after Deb went back home, and this past week I had some nice (and very necessary) “alone-time”. This coming week I’ll be gearing up to return to the classroom for the last term of the school year. The students return to campus in exactly one week (23 April). There are a lot of things I’m looking forward to this term:
...rugby season...

...Sophomore Restaurant...
...Junior Store...
...my sister’s wedding......great stuff to teach...
...Jedidiah tour (maybe)......new staff...
...good times with my students and friends.

There are also things I’m not excited about:
...a ton of good-byes...
...a lot of rain...
...a lot of work...
...no more lazy mornings…

It sounds like your term is going to be full of fabulous fun... Are you sure that's the best picture of me you could find or is this payback for something?
I love you:)
Sorry to hear about losing the lazy mornings. I love lazy mornings. They are the best part of being a stay at home mommy.
Oh Heather... I was hoping Sheryl's memory game would be on here. If you hadn't mentioned the Marten's Lake trip I would have. That trip... Every moment is still crystal clear in my mind. If I close my eyes I can picture us sitting together on the picnic table watching the lightening. And you hanging your underwear on the clothesline while that old guy watched. I can picture that.
But, since you've already mentioned the camping trip where everything went so wrong it was right, I will mention holding hands and walking on the beach in skirts, and symmetry in motion. I think that's what your move was called... Was that it?
My move was called "poetry in motion". I'm so glad someone remembers it!
I changed the picture, Sheryl. Did you notice? But the other picture WASN'T payback; I thought we looked happier in that one.
Thank you... you're FANTASTIC!
I remember poetry in motion. I also remember running to school while you recited "Westley and Buttercup raced along the ravine floor.. etc..." and re-enacting the shrieking eels scene in the pool.
Remember those great potlucks we used to have when we lived in S'toon... when I would bring McDonald's??
all i can think about when i look at all your pics is "WOW, her students must think they have such a hot teacher"...haha, i'm sorry! but it's true!!!!
